In the presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt, President of Mansoura University participates in the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities

His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, met with members of the Supreme Council of Universities as part of the events of the Day of Celebration of the Excellence of Egypt’s Universities at Suez Canal University in Ismailia Governorate. In the presence of Prof. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and the university presidents.

During his meeting with the Supreme Council of Universities, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discussed the quality of education and competitiveness in higher education and scientific research, and the necessity of presenting scientific ideas to confront the challenges facing the state. His Excellency stressed the importance of digitization and its role in the labor market locally and internationally, pointing to the quality of the education path, and recommended that university presidents treat students well and pay attention to them in all fields.

Prof. Cherif Khater expressed his pleasure at attending the meeting in honor of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, he added that His Excellency’s directives will serve as a work map that the university will work to implement during the coming period, and put the quality of education and scientific research at the forefront of the university’s concerns.

He also confirmed that Mansoura University has made great progress in the digitization process and ranked first among Egyptian universities in digital transformation and is working on the digital preparation of the university’s graduates to qualify them for the labor market.
